Terry Grosz was a conservation officer for California and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for more than 30 years. Wildlife Wars, his first book, won the National Outdoor Book Award and was the basis of a docudrama featured on Animal Planet. Eight memoirs followed. His Mountain Men Novels include "Crossed Arrows," "Curse of the Spanish Gold," and "The Saga of Harlan Waugh."
