Traditional Latin Mass Daily Missal
This NEW 2017 EDITION of the Traditional Latin Mass Daily Missal has been enhanced with a more practical interface, higher resolution graphics suitable for both ereaders and tablets, the addition of a Latin hymnal, and revised text.
This Missal has been formatted to ensure that each part of the Mass may be followed in an integrated manner, cross-linked between the following of the Ordinary of the Mass; the Propers of the Seasons; the Propers of the Saints; and the Kyriale.
One of the aims of this publication is to assist those who attend the Traditional Latin Mass to become more familiar with the rich heritage of the Sung Mass throughout the liturgical year with its traditional prayers, actions, chants and hymns.
This booklet includes:
the Ordinary of the Mass in Latin and English including the Prefaces and Communicantes;
the Propers of Sunday and Daily Masses, and the Holy Week liturgies, in Latin and English;
the Rites of Marriage, Baptism, Benediction, and Solemn Requiem Mass and Burial.
the full Kyriale in Gregorian chant notation including the six Credos;
the Leonine prayers intended for Low Mass;
the major Litanies in Latin and English;
a Latin Hymnal;
an English hymnal;
and extensive Tables of Contents for the Mass, the Propers, and the Kyriale,
Commentary is provided to assist the user through the customary responses and actions traditionally expected of those attending Solemn Mass. Each Proper of the Mass also includes links back to the Kyriale of the chosen Mass to ensure seamless coordination between the parts of the Mass.
This Missal also includes some familiar traditional seasonal Latin chants and hymns associated with major feasts, especially the chants for Holy Week, and, for example, Benediction, and the Feasts of the Assumption, and Corpus Christi.
All the Latin chants and hymns follow the format as set by the Liber Usualis 1908.
