THE INTENSITY AND FRESHNESS OF THE COLOR OF THESE FLORALS WERE RETAINED BY THE ARTIST'S USE OF THE POCHOIR METHOD: COLORING THROUGH A LARGE NUMBER OF DIFFERENT STENCILS FOR EACH PLATE.
