This is a unique book. Not only does it contain both the Latin Vulgate and King James translations in their entirety, but every verse is linked between the two translations. For instance, if you click on the hyperlink for Mark 5:1 (MAR5.1) while you're in the King James Version, it will take you to Mark 5:1 in the Latin Vulgate and vice versa. This is particularly helpful for those trying to learn Latin, where the English translation is hidden, but is only one-click away when needed! There are over 31,000 hyperlinks between the two translations.
The KJV was translated in 1611. The Latin Vulgate was translated by St. Jerome in 382. This e-book contains the standard books of the Bible; the Apocrypha and Deutercanonical books are not part of this version.
This version has been meticulously converted to the Kindle format and includes the following features:
