The Doll Master: A Tale of Transformation and Terror
It's 1936 and Wayne Harper is laying low in London's East End after a deadly scrape with gangsters in Chicago. His idleness is interrupted when he stops a mugger from accosting a beautiful woman named Delphina. She turns out to be a pagan priestess determined to stop a warlock who's helping a group of fascists take over the British government. Incredulous but charmed by Delphina's attentions, Wayne agrees to break into the warlock's home. But he is caught and faces the warlock's unbelievable powers.
Wayne is radically transformed and sent back to Delphina as a warning. Will the priestess be able to stop the warlock and help Wayne return to normal? Can Wayne do anything to help in his diminished form or has he become a pawn of the warlock? Wayne struggles with his new perspective and circumstances as events build to a horrifying climax.
Another tautly written gender-bending adventure from the pen of Devery Turnquist. Filled with lively characters, vivid scenes, romance, mystery and horror, it's sure to give readers thrills of all kinds. Contains some adult sex and genital references. About 23,000 words.
