In September of 2017, Hurricane Irma, a category 5 hurricane, passed through the Virgin Islands bringing destruction in its wake. Over two years later, the island chain continues to rebuild with a renewed strength and hope for the future. Many businesses are still closed, but the majority have rebuilt and reopened.
