We have arranged these pages into two sections: â€œTechnical Considerations,â€ and â€œHighlights along the Way.â€ We do not seek to advise you on what to see or what to do. We seek to give you as much information as possible for the preparation and the planning of your trip as well as to provide guidelines to avoid those nasty obstacles which could hinder your enjoyment. We have taken from our experiences since our first Alcan trip way back in 1964. As of this writing, we have driven the Alcan forty-one one-way trips. For this 3rd Edition we have added road information observed on our trip in 2016.
