Mountain Biking Colorado's Front Range: Great Rides in and Around Fort Collins, Denver, Boulder, and Colorado Springs

If you are looking for a good, smooth, consistent climb at a moderate altitude, try Oh My Gawd! (also known as Oh My Gosh!) Road. This road was constructed in the 1870's to support mines in the bills above Idaho Springs and, farther north, Central City. The grade is about 7% -- the maximum grade are wagons of long ago could manage. Today, one can ride up and over the ridge that separates Idaho Springs from Central City, get a good workout, and play a band of poker!
