This story is a variation of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice and begins when Fitzwilliam Darcy arrives in Meryton the day of the Meryton Assembly. Unfortunately, circumstances delay his visit to see his friend Charles Bingley in Netherfield. The last thing he thought when he entered the little village was that his life would soon change. In an instant his plans to visit his friend Charles Bingley were changed and he had to rely on the help of others. Instead of complaining about his situation, Darcy embraced it and looked inward and gradually became a changed man. It was well that he had changed for his future and those of his friends are now interconnected. I hope you enjoy my story as the main characters meet under very different circumstances and with different results than in Miss Austen’s masterpiece.
