My four-year-old granddaughter had a bit of trouble at first because no one she knows has siblings, and most of her friends are her age. She had no one younger to think about. Happily, her mother's best friend had a baby recently (how could I possibly forget the video of her dancing in the elevator to meet baby Kate? She's been friends with her since her mommy started showing!) and she was able to realize Kate would like a baby toy. I have told her that Holly's daddy took Holly out, just he and Holly, for dinner and looking for mommy a present. What a great book that prompts that from a four year old!"
