Bell Lane in the beginning is humorous and heart warming but as the story unravels a taboo subject will begin to surface. A subject that has gone on for many years, is widespread today but was prevalent in nineteen forty one. East End characters at their worst and best, with a way of putting things that only a true East Ender can.
