â€œTraveling has always been a part of my heart, I realize now that I got my travel bug from my parents. It started the moment they decided to immigrate to the U.S. and all of those years they took us on those road trips back to MÃ©xico and instilled in us the importance of family and tradition. My heart was always looking for ways to return to MÃ©xico. The courage that I needed to put in my two weeksâ€™ notice to travel back to the motherland and to have faith that I would be alright came from them, from the example they set going to a country they didnâ€™t know, figuring it out, and realizing that it turned out alright for them. I didnâ€™t need to find the courage out on an adventure, but the adventure did help me realize that I had courage in me all along as an inheritance from my family.
